What services does NS MVP provide?

NS MVP provides free home visits from Public Health Nurses, offering health assessments, infant CPR demonstrations, resources, and referrals to local services.

Who is eligible for a visit from NS MVP?

Any new parent in the North Shore area, including adoptive parents, grandparents, and those in the postpartum period, regardless of their child's presence.

How can I schedule a visit?

You can schedule a visit by contacting your local PHN, calling our office directly, or filling out the referral form on our website. We will connect you with a nurse in your community.

What if I don't have insurance?

Our services are universal and free of charge, with no insurance information required.

I had my baby 6 months ago, am I eligible?

Yes! You are eligible for up to one year after giving birth or adopting a baby.

What kind of freebies will I get?

A gift bag filled with essentials like diapers, wipes, and other freebies!

What days are nurses available for visits?

Monday through Friday.

What if I have multiple kids?
